In Western Australia there are new requirements commencing 31 March 2024 for asbestos removal 

  • Air monitoring for friable asbestos removal work must be conducted by a Licensed Asbestos Assessor (LAA).
  • When friable asbestos removal work is conducted the clearance inspection must be carried out by a LAA.
